On Saturday, I cleaned my room (epic, right?). As I was cleaning I found an inflatable hammer Beau won me at Lagoon last year. It squeaks, and Kodi was completely enthralled so I chased him around the house with it. Then I went back to cleaning. Next thing I knew:
Really funny but mostly sad. Beau wasn’t entertained in the least. Sorry, Beau. 😦
I then ran seven miles. Didn’t stop. Well, except to call the owners of a little yappy dog who followed me and the Kodi dog all the way down the street. Keep your animals on leashes people! That’s a whole ‘nother post. I burned 818 calories according to my Nike Plus ipod tracker thingy.
Friday and Saturday my mom and I did a boutique in Lehi and it was TOTALLY LAME. Hardly any people showed up. It was in a ginormously huge and gorgeous model home, and we set up shop in the closet. Yeah, laugh it up! But it actually worked out well for us. See?
Aubrey and Beau were awesome enough to head down to help me clean up. Aren’t they the nicest besties ever?!?! Okay, they had ulterior motives, Aubrey wanted to see Allred in Provo and I promised Beau dinner. See all the stuff in those pictures up there? We had to fit all that stuff, plus three adults in this:
That’s not my exact car, but you get the idea. All that stuff, tables and all. You know what happens when you try to do that? This happens:
After that adventure we decide to check out the Allred concert. Pass Chuck E. Cheese’s on the way. We do a drive by the concert venue with all the concert-goer’s lined up outside. Beau says “I feel like I could be those kids’ dad.” Nix the concert. Beau says “Me hungry!” I say “I have 818 calories to make up for.” Aub says “I haven’t eaten all day!” I say “Remember that Chuck E. Cheese we drove by earlier?” We GPS Chuck E. Cheese.
Chuck E. Cheese’s has really good pizza. Believe me. Maybe I was just famished but it totally hit the spot.
They have some killer games, too.
That game was much scarier than this picture would lead you to believe.
All in all, I’d say it was a successful Saturday.
