Did that just happen? 2009, I mean. Like, the whole year.

January: Spent zero dollars on clothing. That’s a fact.

February: Visited Michelle in Nebraska! Who would have ever thought I would visit Nebraska… not me. But it was awesome. Started Sweet Somethings with my momma.

March: Went to the Festival of Colors with Aub Bob. Won a photo shoot! Dressed up in 80’s garb and danced the night away.

April: Bought Screamin’ Mimi… aka my scooter. I love her.

May: Happy birthday to me! I got my adorable bicycle, Gigi. Ran my second ever half marathon. Bought my Nikon D60.

June: One word: Hawaii. I don’t even care about anything else that happened in June.

July: I love July. I love the 4th of July. I also love the 24th of July because I live in Utah. July holidays = Bliss.

August: Hong Kong. Macau. Bangkok, Thailand. Epic adventures.

September: Started a photography class, chopped my hair. I love both.

October: Took lots of pictures. Dressed up as a bumble bee.

November: Turkey, mashed, stuffed, etc. Times two.

December: Said good-bye to Elder Nash. Hello house fire. Christmas. New Year’s Eve.

If you’re lucky I’ll post about how I did on my goals for 2009 and fill you in on my goals for 2010. But only if you’re lucky.

Love you all!

xoxo Cambria

Now for a little stroll down memory lane with me and my daddy…

Wasn’t he a handsome young brute?  Oh… and I was pretty darn cute, too. May 1983.

Playing at Layton park… maybe 1985?

(skip a few years because I have limited access to pictures right now)

This picture is from the annual confetti-egg fight on Easter… maybe 2003?  I apologize for my hair but my dad is awesome, as always.

My college graduation 2006.

My dad is the kindest, hardest working, most intelligent, most spiritual, calm, funny, patient man I know.  He is a perfect example to me.  He says out-of-the-blue things at dinner like “Butter is the enemy.  Please pass the enemy.”  He is just down-right good and I love him.

Here’s to a happy birthday, dad!

P.S. You get the first ever birthday shout-out on my blog… now that’s special!

Yesterday was the most adorable two-year old in the worlds’ birthday.  I wanted to do something special for this two-year old, so I decided to sew him a monkey.  I saw the pattern at work and couldn’t stop thinking about it!  Let’s just say it was a little difficult for my skill level… wait till you see how small his face is!  I’m super pleased with how he turned out, though.  I have enough fabric for another monkey… if I dare.

And if you don’t live in Utah, or eat fry sauce, I feel bad for you.  Even though fry sauce is delicious and is perfectly matched with my biggest guilty pleasure (fries), I do not plan on blogging about fry sauce today. Rather a different condiment, ketchup.  Or catch up. I kinda missed the whole month of May and lots happened that I wanted to blog about… so here’s a small re-cap:

Fisrst off let’s talk about Saturday, May 23.

Brian, Beau and I went golfing!  Well, Beau and Brian went golfing and I went golf cart driving, picture taking, and observing.  Those two are hilarious together.  And it was wayyyyyy early for a Saturday morning.

When I got home from golfing I found my family to be acting very suspiciously in the garage.  When I got out of the car they started singing Happy Birthday to me!  They had gotten me a present I’ve been wanting for a long, long time…

Isn’t she just adorable?  Her name is Gigi and her bell makes the perfect “ding-dong” sound like a doorbell and not like the “da-da-da-ling” bell on every other bicycle out there and she has a basket and a book rack (I dunno what it’s called) and her seat has some big springs on them that cushion every bump in the road with a perfect bounce and she has three wonderful speeds and I love her.

Now… I have some more birthday surprises to share, but the sun is shining so I’m outta here.  I’ll post more later.

xoxo love you all!
