One of the perks of working at a Quilt Shop is getting the chance to attend the International Quilt Market which (lucky for me!) was held in Salt Lake City last weekend.

I was in heaven.

I went to a class taught by Amy Butler on Thursday, then on Friday I met her!

(and she told my friend Sig and I that she liked our outfits and that we were really cute!!! Ahhhhh I almost died).

Saw Sandi Henderson’s boot which was simply to die-for-adorable:

Went to a class taught by Joel Dewberry (and his darling wife) on Thursday and met them on Friday as well! I told him how in love I was with his Aviary 2 line (the grey and mustard colorway) and showed him which pieces I was planning on using for the drapes in my bedroom and which I was planning on using for my bedskirt. I think they liked me 😉

So… Joel talked his wife into designing dress patterns… isn’t this dress adorable? I’m going to make it. And the chair. Swoon.

Also went to a class by Anna Maria Horner. LOVE HER. Look at this adorable peasant top she has coming out soon:

Needless to say I was on Cloud Nine.

I also went to a class by Heather Bailey (who announced she is pregnant!) and showed off party supplies that will be available in her adorable designs. Lila Tuller who used laminated fabric in the most adorable ways… cute patterns to come! Michael Miller designers, Riley Blake designers and much more!

P.S. All of these images belong to the amazing photographer, Sigrid Larsen.

So…. I LOVE the Jazz.

Like, LOVE.

And I love Ronnie Price, very, very much.

I remember the moment I had a conversion of the heart to Jazz Basketball:

Watching that gives me chills, even now.

I love the Jazz. And so does Sig. Sig got some great tickets, so we donned our Jazz apparel and headed to Energy Solutions Arena last night with one unified goal:

Make it on the jumbotron.

Guess what??? MISSION ACCOMPLISHED!!! We made it onto this:

We obviously aren’t on it in that picture, because at the time we were too busy shaking what our momma’s gave us to take a picture of it.

But it happend.

You can ask Jess or Lindsay or Gen or Kristi, cause they were there and they saw it.

Oh, and we won! Take that, Sacramento.

A couple weeks ago, Beau asked me to take pictures with his new camera of him playing hockey.

This is what happens when you give me a camera:

I did end up repenting and actually taking pictures of hockey.

They won!

Siggy-Poo came to Beau’s hockey game with me last Friday.  She’s come a few times and it’s such a blast to have an energetic cheering buddy!  Last week she asked me if I had lost weight.  I hand’t.  Totally made my day.

Check me out at all these sporting events lately! Beau’s mom gave him tickets to the Utah-TCU game for his 25th birthday… it was the “blackout” game.  We dressed up in our warmest black attire and cheered on the Utes! It was sooooo cold and I was barely begining to get over my worst cold ever and there was snow to get our bums a little wet and… oh who am I kidding, it was a BLAST!

The crowd went CRAZY when Utah won!

And in other news Beau’s playing in a hockey league.  His games are Friday nights in Bountiful.  It’s so much fun to cheer him on!
