Fame is a creepy thing

Last night my cute friend Christina posted a photo on my Facebook wall. The photo was, in fact, a poster.

With my face on it.

And Aubrey‘s face on it.

Creepy much that this is the first I’ve known or heard of it? A little, yes.

Here it is:

Remember this?

Yes, it is from 2009… a long, long time ago. Aubs and I attended Hari Krishna’s Festival of Colors in Spanish Fork, UT.

I’m only assuming they took the picture from that post.

I’m feeling a strange mix of flattery and violation.

And this hold-out-your-camera self-portrait was the best picture they could find amongst all the pro-photographers that attend?

We are LITERALLY poster children for the event.

Does this mean we get free chalk this year?

P.S. Just a funny little side-note, I remember texting my now husband at this event back in 2009. We were both there, but we didn’t run into each other. I thought he was super dope and fun and I really wanted to meet up with him and his friends there. I had no idea I would marry that guy two and a half years later.

Hi everyone… er… anyone? I know it’s been a while. But lay off me, I’m busy being a happily married woman! Speaking of marriage, I wanted to share the date video Chewy and I had made for our wedding a while back, but I thought our videographer had to take the video’s down due to some music copyrighting issue. But I just now noticed that the video is up! Yahoo! Where have I been?

WE. LOVED. OUR. VIDEOGRAPHER.

We chose Nathan Picket of NP Films do our date, wedding day and reception videos. He has flawless talent and style to spare. He was fun and personable and was an absolute blast to have around on our wedding day. I’ll share our wedding day and reception videos when they are available!

Enjoy!

One Sweet Slice!

Hi readers… if there are any readers left.

So… in case you haven’t heard (which is likely, because it’s not official yet) I’m getting married in November! My stunning future-fiance and I are in one of those (admittedly dumb) Facebook competitions where we can win a free wedding cake. I know, I know, you probably aren’t that interested in liking some random page on Facebook, but this gal for real makes some amazing cakes. And she makes cupcakes and does parties and stuff too… so that’s pretty sweet.

The company is One Sweet Slice.

Would you be so kind as to going to One Sweet Slice on Facebook, becoming a fan, and clicking “Like” on Cambria & Jared so we can win a free cake? The link is below, along with the cute picture of us, so you will know for sure who we are!

Remember, you can always just “Unlike” them after this is all over, but not until after August 30th, okay?

Thanks everyone!

Oh, and of course, feel free to pass the word along. Anything I can do to save my momma $500 on the wedding would make this girl happy!
